You can either scan in information with a bar code reader or you can type it in. If you type it in hit the <tab> key on the keyboard when you are done. If you scan it in the tab will automatically be entered for you.
1. First hit the Clear button.
2. Scan or type in the bar code or ID# on your library card.
3. Scan each book you are checking out.
4. Hit the <Return> key on the keyboard or the Check Out button with the mouse.
